From a single specialism to a multi-award-winning firm
New Capital Link began in 2019 as a small, focused operation built around gold-backed investment opportunities, and was formally established as a company in 2020 by founder Rachel Buscall. What started as a single specialism grew quickly: by 2021 the firm had expanded into property bonds, partnering with providers including Acorn and Alderley Group to introduce clients to opportunities that returned an average of 11.33% that year.
The growth continued from there. In 2022, New Capital Link was recognised as one of the UK's leading alternative investment firms, with average client returns of 12.08%. By 2023, the business had achieved a record 13.35% average client ROI and multi-award-winning status — a trajectory built on ambition, innovation and what we describe internally as an unyielding commitment to excellence: identifying each individual's requirements rather than applying a standardised approach.
It's that same growth that created New Capital Link Careers. As demand from clients and partners increased, so did requests to recommend people who understood alternative investments — which is exactly why New Capital Link launched its own recruitment division, offering remote and Chelmsford-based opportunities to people who want to build a career in this space. Connecting, not managing
We introduce qualifying investors to specialist third-party providers across gold, property bonds, EIS/SEIS, private equity, ethical investments and hydrogen opportunities. Those providers structure and run each investment; New Capital Link does not manage client funds directly.
Regulation, plainly stated
New Capital Link is a professional introducer, not a fund manager, and is not FCA regulated. That's simply a fact about how the business operates — one we're upfront about with clients, candidates and partners alike, because how we work should never be a mystery to the people who join us.
What it means for your role
